I2R’s Integrated Monitoring Station (IMS) is a ruggedized environmental monitoring system made in the USA. It comprises high-quality cameras and selectable environmental sensors networked to a high-performance computer and can be customized for many applications. Each IMS is radiometrically and geometrically calibrated in our facility to ensure precise and reliable data collection. Our system leverages edge computing and data processing technology with integrated acquisition to provide decision-support data. The IMS’s onboard computing provides direct georeferencing and geolocated solutions that can be integrated into a map or GIS. Versions of our IMS are currently fielded in many harsh and remote locations throughout the United States. Applications include coastal monitoring, wildfire detection, traffic monitoring research and a variety of environmental concerns.
