Advanced LED Lighting Control

I2R developed a prototype novel smart light and wireless sensor network that incorporates advanced lighting controls – (occupancy sensing and daylight harvesting) with Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to conserve energy and improve lighting quality.  With various feedback systems, the ambient light can be measured and calculated to adjust the LEDs and control the lighting of room automatically.  The control for multiple lighting units is handled over a network which can communicate to multiple nodes, gathering data from various sources and sending information where needed.
